CEREC is a modern tool for damaged tooth restoration. The procedure only requires one visit to the dental clinic. CEREC restorations are free of metal and composed of high-grade ceramic. Their composition ensures a natural appearance, while also strengthening and restoring your tooth’s function.
First, you begin with a consultation appointment. During that visit, you and your dentist discuss the process and what to expect. The dentist will answer any of your questions or concerns as well. Then, the dentist uses 3D imaging to photograph your tooth.
With CEREC’s unique software, the dentist designs your custom restoration. The CEREC crafts your restoration from ceramic with diamond burs. Lastly, the dentist bonds the ceramic restoration to your tooth using industry-leading dental adhesion methods.
